In my dream I'm often running ..

To the place that's out of you
Of every kind of memory
With strings that tie to you

Who hasn't ever wished we could delete some memories from our mind...

Most of the times those are the things one can't stop thinking about..

So we just have to live with it.

There's this film "Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind" where Jon Brion wrote part of the soundtrack... which deals with this subject..

But I don't want to forget nothing..

'cause I guess at the end.. memories are the only thing we have left...

Can't say where I'll be in a year....

Yesterday's night Aerosmith show here in Barcelona was such a big party..

People couldn't stop dancing or getting the smile away from their faces..

Everybody was in a great mood...

The girls who were by my side were in heaven.. when they played Dream On, Walk this way, Sweet emotion, Crying, Toys in the Attic.. excellent

I was wondering how you get from being just any band from Boston to become the greatest American band from the latest 30 years..

You're just somebody that I used to know..

Nobody will ever know why Elliott Smith killed himself..

Not so much people will care.. cause it'll look as the typical insecure unhappy guy who wrote songs.. stuck on the Beatles..

But I did give Figure 8 a chance..

And it's true I got engaged to some of his songs.. and this last weekend was listening to this tune and thinking that he was singing with such sincerity on it..

Hope whoever comes here may like it ..

He’s in love with rock ‘n’ roll

He’s in love with getting stoned,
He’s in love with Janie Jones,
He don’t like his boring job no…

Wouldn't change a word..

That's how the Clash said hello to the world

1st cut on their debut LP..

You know I'm born to lose...

and gambling's for fools,
But that's the way I like it baby,
I don't wanna live forever,

The greatest guy screaming his guts ...

No love songs today..

then I'll follow you into the dark ..

I am sure some people just can't stand listening to this song...

Ben Gibbard managed to talk about something which all of us try to avoid thinking..

I really believe this is one of the greatest declarations of love I've ever heard..

And it goes to show that love songs are still there awaiting to be written..

If there's no one beside you
When your soul embarks
Then I'll follow you into the dark
Then I'll follow you into the dark

Will I wait a lonely lifetime...

If you want me to, I will ...

There is no favorite song on "the White Album" for me..

The whole album is amazing ...

But yesterday I was goofing with the guitar, while on my own thinking about a girl.. and played "I Will" like 20 times..

I remembered when I first had a look to it.. It was the first CD my mother bought me.. and when I listened to "I Will" I just though it was a perfect song..

It's often underrated, because there are some others which have transcended more like "Happiness is a Warm Gun", "While My Guitar Gently Weeps".. but all 30 songs on the record are great.

Who knows how long I've loved you
You know I love you still
Will I wait a lonely lifetime
If you want me to, I will.

For if I ever saw you
I didn't catch your name
But it never really mattered
I will always feel the same.

Love you forever and forever
Love you with all my heart
Love you whenever we're together
Love you when we're apart.

And when at last I find you
Your song will fill the air
Sing it loud so I can hear you
Make it easy to be near you
For the things you do endear you to me
Oh, you know, I will
I will.

This is ourselves under pressure...

Oh yes... we commit the worst mistakes under pressure...

Then we regret, wish we could had a cool head or the time machine to go back and fix things ...

At least I can get consolation from Queen and Bowie ...

It seems that happens to everybody ...

Insanity laughs under pressure we're cracking

...did they get you to trade your heroes for ghosts?

There is so much wisdom on these lyrics that should be read very carefully...

In this case Roger Waters was touching mental sanity... but everybody thinks about love when a song is a ballad with such title ...

It's incredible how music in the 70's was so extremely artistic and creative in every field ...

Pink Floyd, apart from the music, provided this great poetry and imaginary...

Before writing a song, one should pay a visit to records like this ...

I grown so used to you somehow ...

and I am nobody sugar daddy now..
and I'm lonesome..
I got the lovesick blues..
I found myself singing this line this morning..

Don't know how I got to this song..

But I love the lyrics... and the way Hank Williams sing is great...

Dead too soon as well.. as it should be for such a great legend..

Crashed on drugs and booze before his thirties when rock and roll wasn't even born ...

Such a certain aphorism in the last single he released; "I'll Never Get Out of This World Alive".

...I Am the Passenger

Four chords to write a classic..

a raw lullaby about the loneliness of the city's hidden miseries ...

About the defiant nightly sky ...

About the faithful solitude which always provides floods of inspiration..
