I use to sing this with my sister when Skid Row made the cover.. we loved the song..
I'll always love 70's Kiss.. they were the superheros of rock.. and when you are a kid they were the only rock band that were making some fun of themselves..
If this blog was a dictionary and I had to describe what a riff is… It would be quite a boring thing to do.. so I believe that hearing one is actually the best way to get it. ..
I love riffs.. and people may say that Whole Lotta Love or Smoke on the Water are the best ever..but I really don’t know if there's such thing..
Satisfaction has one of the greatest riffs and also is very easy to play..
They said the first riff song was What'd I Say by Ray Charles.. which actually it’s played on a keyboard..
Anyway my choice for the golden riff is …. COLD GIN by the ace of the aces… Mr. Ace Frehley, aka the Spaceman, and other three guys that use to play with him.. in a band called KISS.

Some bands are linked through some of the record covers. In this case we have four-member bands which at one point of their careers decide to release a record where the design is simply a four division placing each members face on each quarter.
I haven't done too much investigation , but believe that "Let It Be" may probably be the first one.
I like that record covers, because shows that the band is equally divided by the sum of it's parts. Number 4 is magic in music.
