.. been caught stealing when I was five

I wish there were more bands like Jane's Addiction..

so fresh, original and daring...

from their record covers to their lyrics,
from the clothes to the song titles..

Here comes the best song to start the weekend..

... pero los queremos

Back in the day I bought "Ritual de lo Habitual" 'cause I couldn't get this song out of my head..

Back then, didn't know what alternative rock was, no idea about indie.. no idea about hype, cool or trendy music..

I just thought that Stop was the best thing I've ever heard so far..

I got the record, went home, played it and this woman comes talking in Spanish on the stereo..

Just couldn't believe it.. ¿?

Señores y Señoras
nosotros tenemos mas influencia con sus hijos que tu tiene.
pero los queremos..
creado y grabado en Los Angeles..
Juana's Adiccion !!

And then that riff by Dave Navarro, which is one of the most intense I could recall..

The original cover was banned in US, so the one on the video below was the replacement..

It only shows The First Amendment to the United States Constitution

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.
