Alive in the superunknown !!!

I always write suspension points... but I really need exclamations to shout out that I am alive in the superunknown... !

SoundGarden was one of those bands that I would really would have loved seeing back in the day when they release their first albums..

Unfortunately they didn't come to Spain until their 1996 album which I actually never heard.. as I was into other stuff in that days..

Anyway as they appear in Guitar World cover I wanted to remember one of their most kicking ass tunes..

Basically what Sabbath or Zeppelin could have done in the 90's...

with your long blonde hair and your eyes of blue...

Today 6th December, is Randy Rhoads birthday..

An incredible musician who unluckily died when was only 25 years old..

Probably the most gifted guitar player of his generation, a classical trained and charismatic guy who Ozzy hired just after he tuned up his guitar in the audition..

So for guitar players.. to play with feeling, with a feeling that comes from love, the solo in Goodbye to Romance is the perfect example... like a swan song..

I sit around with my head hanging down...

And I wonder who's loving you !!!

I was recording my 6 years old nephew singing a song for my sister..

Even he was singing fine .. He didn't had the attitude...

So I played him this video.. asking to sing with his eyes closed.. moving his hands and feeling the music in all his body..

it was amazing how he sang it then..

Checking Don Kenn's blog .. I found this little gem.. tiny masterpiece of the animation..

When the video ended.. I had to watch it again as I was so absorbed by it that couldn't properly judge it.. that's the point no judging..

The song is strange and evocative..

They are called Said the Shark from Denmark, with two records released so far ..

Always Prattling On About Wolves & Silly Killings .. the song True Love is from the second release..

I guess I'll never be able to listen to Time of the Season without remembering Homer Simpson becoming a hippie wearing his filthy old poncho in Springfield and getting everybody high with the hallucinogen crops plantation..

that's a milestone of 20th century culture's clash

I use to sing this with my sister when Skid Row made the cover.. we loved the song..

I'll always love 70's Kiss.. they were the superheros of rock.. and when you are a kid they were the only rock band that were making some fun of themselves..
