..the look he had with that glasses, the suit and the Stratocaster...
A guitar that was released in 1954 just three years before this song ...
Don McLean sang in America Pie that the day he died at 22.. the music died as well...
This last weekend we went to the mountain's country house of my mate...
We had a the best time..
Then after lunch we took the guitars out and played some tunes...
We were playing some early Beatles songs.. and I remembered Peggy Sue and asked Marc to play that repetitive drum rhythm...
And so.. with the 12 bar blues structure.. we played Peggy Sue ...
and it was magic..
Peggy Sue
If you knew Peggy Sue - then you’d know why I feel blue
without Peggy - my Peggy Sue
oh well, I love you gal - yes, I love you Peggy Sue
Peggy Sue, Peggy Sue - oh how my heart yearns for you
oh Peggy - my Peggy Sue
oh well, I love you gal - yes, I love you Peggy Sue
Peggy Sue, Peggy Sue - pretty pretty pretty pretty Peggy Sue
oh Peggy - my Peggy Sue
oh well, I love you gal and I need you Peggy Sue
I love you Peggy Sue - with a love so rare and true
oh Peggy - my Peggy Sue
well I love you gal - I want you Peggy Sue
Peggy Sue, Peggy Sue
pretty pretty pretty pretty Peggy Sue
oh Peggy - my Peggy Sue
oh well, I love you gal and I need you Peggy Sue
I love you Peggy Sue - with a love so rare and true
oh Peggy - my Peggy Sue
well I love you gal - I want you Peggy Sue
oh well, I love you gal and I want you Peggy Sue
